This Musician Can Sing the Highest of High Notes

Growing up in Texas, John Holiday sang in the soprano section of the church choir. He was teased for “singing like a girl.” But his naturally high voice became his greatest asset. He always knew he was destined to be a singer; today, this countertenor sings everything from opera to spirituals on stages all over the world. “My life has been a story,” Holiday says. “It’s a dream that I could have never imagined.”
